Introduction
The research compiled at the Beaver Creek Reserve Field Research Station was conducted to survey the bird species and to find their food preferences. Our research is part of a Beaver Creek class taught by Paul Tweed of Augusta and Scott Theil of Altoona. The goal of the overall class was to find out as much information about the research field as possible. Our goal was to find the common birds of the research station, and their seed preferences in the specific habitats that we set our feeders in. In doing this we made a list of species that we saw and we also got percentages of seed preferences and the most common bird present.
