Oh the Places You'll Go

Posted on December 1, 2013 by Trey F.

"Oh the places you'll go," this phrase ignites strong feelings of encouragement in me. Our group's goal was to find educational places to go for school and publish it on a website. The purpose of this website is to give future students quick access to a catalog of field trip locations of educational value.

Over the course of one month we built documents that contained information such as distance, driving time, educational purpose, and equipment necessary.  Over the one month period we visited some of these locations such as Hobbs's ice skating rink, the Y.M.C.A., and Lowes Creek for mountain biking.

The final product is a database including over thirty locations that we could visit and find educational merit in a day or less.  Although we had several challenges the whole experience was very enjoyable.
