In a group presentation format, each group will have a turn to present their possible trip. The particulars must be broken down into five categories and several justifications for each category must be given. In addition, every person in the group must speak about at least one of the five main categories.

  1. Camping Style
  2. Paddle Distance Per Day
  3. Route Flexibility
  4. Rapids Difficulty level
  5. Driving time from Wildlands

After each group presents, questions may be directed to the group for further clarification.

To keep track of the different trip options, as other groups present, group members will take turns taking notes on a worksheet (provided by the teacher) about each presentation.

It is quite possible that different groups may have similar trips-that is just fine. On your worksheet, be sure to note the subtle differences.

After the group presentations but before the debates, each group will convein to decide on what trip option is best for the class based on the group presentations (Go over each presentation worksheet to make an informed decision about the best trip option). Groups must have justifications written down on the worksheet for each topic

When finished with group presentation, go to debate.
