What to wear on a three day canoe trip is the million dollar question? If you bring too little then you could be cold. If you bring too much then weight and storage become an issue. The most important place to start is with the weather because this plays the biggest factor in what to bring on the trip.

Several days before the trip, go on-line and get the extended forecast for the area that you will canoe. A few sites are Intellicast, Weather Channel, TV 18, or TV 13. This will give you a good idea to pack for warm or cool weather. There are many great web sites to describe how to match the weather with clothing. Read at least 2 of the following sties that state guidelines for clothing and then make a list of clothing to bring on the trip.

When finished with clothing, proceed to the pre-trip checklist.
