 Canoeing will consist of 3 parts:

1. Safety
2. Strokes
3. Reading the water

Before watching the video, canoe skills is a web site that will prepare you for the video. It will pictorially demonstrate and describe eight different strokes used.

All students will watch "Canadian Canoeing", answer video worksheet questions and discuss answers in class.

Either read the Paddling Bares Canoe Club or EEk because they both have river safety tips that are easy to remember.

When finished with canoeing, continue on with clothing.
