Each group of students will use the Soil Composition Ribbon Test document to determine the soil type at each of their observation points. Students will then report there findings to teacher for a grade.
Activity 4: Soil ph Worksheet and Lab
Each group of students will use the Soils ph Worksheet and Lab to learn about the importance of ph, how to conduct the test, and what to do to correct the ph of the soil.
