Identify your reasons for this project.
At the identify stage of a project you are ready to create testable statement or provide a purpose statement for your research.

  1. If your project is research based you need:
    1. Hypothesis: Testable Statement: If---------then----------
      • Outcome prediction
      • Options for solutions
      • Know what you’re looking for

    OR

  2. If your project is not experimental and or research that requires a hypothesis, then:
    1. You need purpose statement describing what the project is.
    2. Purpose statement include all of the following:
      1. The project title
      2. Why are you doing this project?
      3. What do you expect to learn about?
      4. How are you going to accomplish your goals?
      5. What will be the final outcome?
Remember to keep track of your projects in Project Foundry.
