What is it that makes Wildlands School different?

Wildlands School is a learning community of scientists, young and old -- students, teachers, and community experts designing and completing a wide range of projects focused on an even wider range of topics. The school is a partnership between the School District of Augusta and Beaver Creek Reserve

WHERE IS WILDLANDS?

Wildlands School is located at Beaver Creek Reserve in Eau Claire County. Students share The Beaver Creek Citizen Science Center state of the art lab, classroom, and computer facilities. The school has a Mobile Lab Bus equipped for field work in the local environment; a floating lab pontoon and boats for lake research; canoes and kayaks for river work; mountain bikes for local field work; and skis and snowshoes for winter research. The local natural environment is our classroom.
